If you answered “Yes” to these questions, our new Peer-to-Peer Network for New Business Owners may be for you?
Starting your own business or becoming self employed is an incredible achievement and whilst exciting and rewarding it can also be scary and challenging. Research has shown that business owners who seek advice from outside of the business or undertake formal training are more likely to improve their overall performance, however many prefer to take advice from trusted sources such as peers when faced with challenges and opportunities.
Funded by B&NES Council, our new Peer-to-Peer Network is exclusively for new business owners and aims to create a small, diverse group of business owners to work collaboratively with their peers work through and overcome common business start-up issues, and embrace new opportunities. Supported by topic experts, each session will enable you to discuss your own challenges, gain and reflect on valuable feedback and implement practical solutions to overcome them.
From marketing to finance and HR to sales, the programme will give you the flexibility to create a trusted support network that works for you, helping you to build and strengthen your new business and enable it to thrive.
The programme, which will commence in mid October, will consist of 5 sessions, with the first and last being Face-to-Face and the others taking place on Zoom. The last meeting will be Mid January.
Each session will last around1.5 hours and the dates and topics will be tailored to the needs of the group and agreed at the first session.
Each participant will also be offered 3 x 121 mentoring sessions.
Spaces are limited and we are looking for 10 individuals to join our pilot programme.
