Join us for an informative session on the South Gloucestershire Council’s Vacant Units Grants scheme where we’ll share information you’ll need to apply for funding, provide support to help you understand the guidance notes and application process.

Property owners with vacant commercial units.
Sole traders, business owners, charities, or Community Interest Companies (CICs) interested in occupying an empty unit on one of the 8 high street locations.
The eight South Gloucestershire high street areas are:
Chipping Sodbury, DownendFilton, Hanham, Kingswood, Staple Hill, Station Road – Yate, Thornbury

About the Presenter:
The presenter of this workshop is Sue Marchant who has over 20 year’s experience on helping small businesses start and grow. Sue has helped numerous of businesses successfully complete various grant applications.

PARKING:
Car parking on the High Street is free but can get quite busy, and some areas are time limited. There is a car park situated just off the Wickwar Road towards Waitrose on Barnhill Road that offers additional free parking just a two-minute walk from the High Street.
If you are unable to attend this event, we require at least 2 working days notice for cancellations to enable us to offer your place to someone else. We reserve the right to cancel your place if you are not eligible for this service.
All participants of the service are eligible to receive up to 12 hours of free support.
