This short workshop will introduce you to the idea of self-employment or starting your own business. It is a space to explore ideas and look at what could be possible before you take your next step.

- Explore different ways to come up with ideas: techniques to generate and evaluate business ideas.
- Making decisions: tools to filter your ideas so you can decide where to start.
- Pros and cons: things to think about when you consider becoming self-employed.
- Networking: the event will provide opportunities to connect with other people exploring their ideas. This can lead to collaborations, partnerships, or simply the exchange of useful ideas and experiences.
Who should attend:
Ideas stage: Individuals who are thinking about starting their own business and becoming self-employed or want to earn extra income doing something they love, but don’t know where to start.
A bit about your presenter:
Amy Morse is an Outreach Business Advisor and a creative entrepreneur who has mentored thousands of startups and small businesses over the years. She is a published author, blogger, sometime artist and maker, with a passion for sustainability. She helps others to embrace their story, to develop their small business with courage, confidence, and creativity.
