This session covers key changes relating to MTD, who will be affected, when and how. You will gain understanding of what to do if you are already over the MTD registration threshold, and how to prepare if you think you will be affected in future.
Many people who are self employed genuinely struggle with paperwork, computing and administration, so we will also discuss what to do if you are feeling overwhelmed by the changes.

Who should attend?
This event is only available and is free for small businesses, sole traders and residents based in Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
It suits sole traders or unincorporated landlords, whose total sales either are, or are forecast to be, £20k or more per year, within the next three years. MTD is not relevant to those running partnerships or Ltd companies, or sole traders whose turnover is anticipated to be less than £20k per year.

This is a group business education class about how to manage your business reporting for tax purposes, to either assist you to be able to do your own tax reporting or else understand what your accountant needs to do for you. You will not receive individual tax advice; Cool Ventures also does not offer accountancy services.

This webinar will be run by our business start-up expert Emma Smith who runs a number of businesses and has been advising individuals on how to start and run a successful business and obtain funding for nearly two decades.
