An understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) and its protection is vital for anyone with an idea, whether it’s an invention, a brand name or a song. This workshop from BIPC Bristol will introduce the different types of IP and help you understand which may apply to you and your business.

The workshop will cover the four main areas of IP: patents, trade marks, design right and copyright.

A bit about the presenter:
Presented by Andy Stanway & Edward Small. Andy is a Business and Intellectual Property information specialist. He delivers a range of business and intellectual property information events and clinics. He has worked with a wide range of businesses particularly helping those who are at start-up and early stages.
Edward is a Business & Intellectual Property Advisor at BIPC Bristol. He has delivered 1-to-1 Intellectual Property information support for a range of businesses and individual and collaborative creative enterprises.
BIPC Bristol is funded by the West of England Combined Authority through the UKSPF, administered by the West of England Combined Authority.
